Paid Media Manager
Salary: £25k - £35k
Contract: Full time
Applications Close: November 20, 2020
Exciting opportunity for a paid media expert to become a crucial, leading figure in a team that we have big plans for. We’ve always been famous for our SEO. Now we want to be famous for our paid media.
This is Go Up’s first ever role dedicated to paid media. You will be taking over the management of campaigns that currently span Google Ads, as well as paid social.
In this role you’ll be given a lot of autonomy, and will be expected to assist the senior team in writing pitches and proposals for new paid business both from amongst our existing SEO clients and new clients.
You will be given the time and budget to build a dedicated department around you. This will involve the recruitment and training of interns, graduates and execs.
Ideally, you will have at least 3 years of hands-on agency experience. The clients you’ve worked on will have varied in size and budget, and you will have roughly equal experience in paid search and paid social.
You will also have helped to create and win pitches, deliver reports to clients, and have been client-facing.
We will also consider outstanding candidates who only have client-side experience.
We don’t expect much by way of team management experience, but we need you to be able to demonstrate the ability and desire to step into such a role.
We are proud to be an agency that develops its team through trust and sharing real responsibility from day one. We rarely make hires at senior level, relying instead on nurturing our own talent, or hiring at mid-level (like yourself).
Go Up is a relatively small agency (between 20 and 25 employees) doing big things. Our success rate with clients is very high. We have one of the lowest staff turnover rates in the industry – something we’re very proud of. Every single member of Go Up’s senior team started with us as graduates.
We believe our people stick with us because we give real responsibility and real trust from day one.
So we’re looking for someone who can fit in to that culture – someone who is happy being given the reins, and confident to take decisions and lead those around you.
Benefits & Perks
From healthy snacks in the office through to weekly yoga, group fitness classes, access to life coaches, nutritionists and our very own private garden space, we take care to ensure our team can thrive on all fronts. We even introduced our four day working week back in 2013, well before it became cool.
