Build content pillars
We organised content around the topics and decisions that matter to property investors, using connected pillars instead of isolated articles or generic location pages.
The brief
Alesco helps investors find property opportunities in UK cities, with a focus on Northern powerhouse cities such as Manchester and Liverpool. When our work began, the site had not yet built a consistent search-led content strategy around its investors’ questions and regional interests.
The brief was to build useful content pillars around property investment, strengthen visibility for relevant regional searches and make the route from research to an enquiry clearer.
The work
We gave Alesco’s property expertise a clearer shape in search. Content strategy, page experience and technical SEO worked together so the site could answer investors’ questions and serve the markets where Alesco operates.
We organised content around the topics and decisions that matter to property investors, using connected pillars instead of isolated articles or generic location pages.
We connected investment questions to market-specific searches, with Manchester and Liverpool among the key locations.
We used a repeatable content template, clearer UX and ongoing technical SEO to make each page more useful and easier to discover.
Property-market commentary carried Alesco’s expertise into national, regional and specialist publications.
See the Alesco PR case study for more coverage.
The results
Organic traffic grew 164% in the first 12 months and 333% over 16 months. In a separate tracking period, Alesco’s top-ten visibility rose 96%. Its first-page coverage now includes both city-specific and broader property investment searches.
People searching for investment opportunities can now encounter Alesco at several stages: learning about investment models, comparing locations and looking for a specialist property investment company.
The content pillars give Alesco a structure it can keep extending as new markets and investor questions emerge, while the technical and UX work supports the pages already in place.
