In Summer 2018, coffee subscription company Pact Coffee signed up Go Up to help them with the design of a new section of their website dedicated to the B2B side of their business. The new site was to be the culmination of a much larger branding and identity exercise which saw the company completely re-imagine their old B2B arm ‘Pact at Work’ to the newer, fresher, ‘Pact Coffee for Business’.
‘No photographs of cups of coffee or roasted coffee beans!’ was the (albeit very simplified) brief. Sounds odd, but when assessing the competition, it was clear that the market was crying out for a company that was prepared to think beyond Instagram-ready photos of cappuccino and 90’s-style corporate stock imagery as a means to selling coffee to companies. Instead, we wanted to bring to the fore what makes Pact unique: a coffee supply chain that its customers are proud to buy in to, and a genuine passion for quality that you can taste in every sip.
